Sibenik Ferry Terminal

The longitudinal orientation of the buildings allows for efficient organization of the limited site area for short and long term parking, public transport, queue/waiting area for ferries, division of international and national traffic, etc.

The program is organized around two patios bringing in the local native vegetation into the heart of the building. The ground floor is public, and the first floor is for the offices of the Port Authority. The roof 'wave' turns down to indicate the entrance, and lifts up to allow views to the cruisers and the harbour.

The elevation is materialized with white local natural stone with an amount of openings increasing from south to north to guarantee pleasant climate and cheerful natural light in the building.
